Boniface

Bonikka is a doll brand founded in 2010, inspired by a long-standing family tradition. The brand represents love, security, and sustainability. The name "Bonikka" means "doll" in Sinhalese and symbolizes the warm bond between generations.

The range consists of handmade, soft rag dolls suitable for children aged 1 year and up. The dolls are designed to be cuddly and safe, making them the perfect first playmate. There are various models, ranging from classic rag dolls to baby dolls with soft clothes. Some dolls are even specially designed for role-play and emotional development.

Sustainability is central to Bonikka. The dolls are ethically produced in Sri Lanka using eco-friendly materials like organic cotton and recycled fabrics. Production adheres to strict quality and safety standards, and the dolls are completely free of harmful substances.

Besides sustainability, Bonikka also contributes to social projects. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Viharamahadevi Center for Child Development, an orphanage in Sri Lanka that provides care to girls aged 5 to 18. This means that every purchase not only supports a child in their play, but also children in need of extra support.
